September 14, 2007, Underwood Plaza Update

Crossland Construction removed concrete at the north shoring wall in order to allow the electrician to run conduit to re-feed the existing pole lights on Dickson Street west of our site, continued to de-water the foundation excavation at Powerhouse Row, was laying out control lines on the 4th Floor Level slab, began running 2 x 4 plates for the grade beam formwork at Powerhouse Row, installed rebar, wire mesh and block-outs at the 5th Floor Level for the concrete slab pour and did some upkeep on the storm water pollution prevention system.

Crossland Steel was running edge angle at framed openings and the perimeter of the 5th Floor Level in order to continue installing floor decking, moved the northeast stair to the 1st Floor Level for installation, finished decking the 5th Floor Level, was welding at the column splices between the 3rd and 4th Floor Levels and was setting diagonal bracing between the 4th and 5th Floor Levels.

Fayetteville Mechanical set the two condenser water circulating pumps and moved other equipment into the 1st Floor Level Mechanical Room, ran steel gas piping from the gas entry point at the southwest corner of the building up and over to the 2nd Floor Mechanical Room to rise up in the building, set floor drains and block-outs at the 5th Floor Level for the concrete slab pour, was installing tanks and piping over the 1st Floor Level Mechanical Room and was hanging cast iron drain piping below the 4th Floor Level.

Midwest Drywall began installing exterior metal studs at the west elevation at the 3rd Floor Level.
The 5th Floor Level slab was poured, finished and saw-cut.
