November 4, 2007, Underwood Plaza Update

Beams continued were hung out and bar joists were set at the 8th Floor Level. Decking began to be installed.

A temporary trash chute was installed at the south elevation.

Exterior gypsum sheathing was being installed at the west elevation. Bump out features were being framed at the west elevation. Exterior studs at the 6th Floor Level at the west elevation began being installed. Interior partitions continued to be installed at the 5th Floor Level. Felt paper began being installed at the west elevation.

The foundation at Powerhouse Row was backfilled and compacted and covered with rock base. The Parking Deck entry drive from Powerhouse Avenue was cut and graded out.

Portions of the temporary shotcrete barricade wall along the north side of the building were removed.

The columns from the 4th to 5th Floor Level and the 5th Floor framing were sprayed with fire-proofing.

Work continued in the main 1st Floor Mechanical Room with piping continuing to be installed and disconnect switches being installed.

Wire mesh reinforcing for the 8th Floor slab and above was delivered.

The south stair was poured up to the 6th Floor Level.

Electrical and plumbing rough in continued at interior partition walls at the 4th Floor Level.

Expanded metal grating began being installed at the main north chase and concrete pads for heat pumps were poured at the 2nd and 3rd Floor Levels.

Fire sprinkler piping began being run over the 1st Floor Level.
