December 21, 2007, Underwood Plaza Update

The mason began laying cast stone and brick at the 2nd Floor Level at the west elevation. Some of the cast stone window surrounds were set.

The electrical contractor was pulling his main power cable risers to the upper floor mechanical rooms.

Partitions were being roughed in with electrical at the 7th Floor.

Roof beams were hung out and roof joists were set. Roof decking began being laid down. Outriggers for the roof overhangs were being installed.

Exterior walls were being framed up at the 8th Floor, including the two towers.

Wood blocking continued to be installed at exterior window openings at the upper floors.

Copper piping continued to be run over the upper floors. Plumbing continued to be roughed in at interior walls on the upper floors.

Preparations were being made to set the elevator machinery at the top of the elevator shafts.
