July 13, 2007, Underwood Plaza Update
The last of the reinforcing steel cages for the piers at Powerhouse Row were tied up.
BEI continued to run and backfill underground conduits into the building at the southwest corner.
Steel floor decking and perimeter edge angle continued to be installed at the Second Floor Level.
Diagonal bracing continued to be welded at the First Floor Level.
Safety rails were installed and openings were closed off at the Second Floor Level.
Rebar and wire mesh reinforcing were installed at the Second Floor Level.
Fayetteville Mechanical installed floor drains and duct sleeves at the Second Floor Level.
Plans for a Second Floor Level concrete pour were cancelled for 07/13/07 due to threatening rain, which did not materialize, and the pour was rescheduled for 07/14/07.
Crossland Steel then continued on with hanging beams at the Third Floor Level and made great progress with the structural steel frame.
