July 21, 2007, Underwood Plaza Update

The Second Floor Level slab was poured, finished and sawcut.

A portion of the central concrete stair was also poured.

The Third Floor beams continued to be set, and the north stair was installed from the First Floor Level up to the Second Floor Level.

Rock for the slab on the First Floor Level began to be installed, using a Tele-belt conveyor belt.

Preparations for the First Floor Level slab took place with edge of slab being laid out and sonotube forms being placed around the steel columns.

The south stair was erected from the First Floor Level up to the Second.

Floor bar joist installation began at the Third Floor Level.

Fayetteville Mechanical began installing underslab drain piping at the First Floor Level.

The north stair was installed from the Second Floor Level up to the Third.

Bill’s Electric began mounting brackets for conduits at the First Floor Level electrical room.

Safety measures were constantly being installed.

Walker Masonry laid up some brick selection sample panels.

And local interest in our project continued, with Northwest Arkansas Times here to interview our tower crane operator for a feature article to be published this fall.
