September 21, 2007, Underwood Plaza Update

Crossland Construction continued laying down 2 x 4 plates for the grade beam formwork at Powerhouse Row, uncovered the existing conduits feeding the existing pole lights along Dickson Street west of the site and began installing grade beam formwork at Powerhouse Row.

Midwest Drywall continued installing metal studs at the west exterior elevation and a portion of the south elevation at the 3rd Floor Level, including jambs, sills and insulated headers for window openings and was installing top and bottom track for metal studs at the west exterior elevation at the 2nd Floor Level.

Crossland Steel began hanging beams at the 6th Floor Level, continued welding up diagonal bracing between the 4th and 5th Floor Levels and began welding in place gusset plates atop the 5th Floor beams for diagonal bracing.

Fayetteville Mechanical continued welding up steel piping for the condenser water circulating system in the 1st Floor Mechanical Room, continued running cast iron and PVC piping below the 4th Floor Level and began hanging ductwork over the 4th Floor Level.

JD Steel installed a portion of the rebar for grade beams and pilasters at Powerhouse Row.
