January 26, 2008, Underwood Plaza Update

Roof perimeter steel framing continued to be welded up on the ground and flown into place.

Masonry continued to be laid up at the west elevation between the 3rd and 4th Floor Levels.

The over-framed floor at the 2nd Floor Level next to the breezeway was framed up, along with the breezeway walls. Sheathing board was being installed at the walls along the breezeway stair.

Interior partitions continued to be framed up at the 2nd Floor Level.

The center stair at the north elevation from the 2nd Floor Level down to Dickson Street was installed and concrete was poured.

The cooling tower, along with the boilers and the heat exchanger, were brought on site on trailers and flown up to the roof and placed.

Electrical and plumbing rough in continued at upper floor partition walls.

Exterior walls continued to be framed up at the 8th Floor Level.

SWEPCO continued working along Powerhouse Avenue installing new power poles.

Sheathing board was being installed at the east elevation.

Roof decking was installed on the tower roof framing on the ground, in preparation to being flown into place.

The walls around the 1st Floor Mechanical/Electrical Room were being framed up.

The mechanical closets at the 3rd Floor shell space were being framed up.

Piping was being insulated.

Roof drain piping continued to be hung over the 9th Floor.

Roof parapets were being framed up.

The south stair was being erected from the 8th to the 9th Floor Level.
