February 2, 2008, Underwood Plaza Update
Masonry continued at the west elevation with brick and cast stone being laid from the 4th Floor Level up to the 5th Floor Level.
The roof framing and decking for the two towers were flown up and set into place.
The south stair was erected all the way up to the roof level.
Roof parapet framing continued to be erected.
The partition walls for the public restrooms on the 3rd Floor Level was being framed up.
A topping out ceremony took place with guests present. A ceremonial final beam, with a tree for luck and the American flag, was flown into place on top of the east tower.
Exterior sheathing continued at the east elevation.
The elevator shaft walls were being erected.
Interior walls along the 2nd Floor breezeway and main corridor continued to be framed up. Drywall was being installed at the 2nd Floor.
