March 14, 2008, Underwood Plaza Update

The fire sprinkler riser with hose stations continued to be run at the south staircase.

Piers continued to be drilled and poured at the Parking Deck.

Grading continued at the Parking Deck. Rock base was laid down at the south half of the Parking Deck.

The copper trim subcontractor was on site field measuring and coordinating with the roofing subcontractor.

Installation of roofing insulation and membrane continued at the main roof and at the top of the two towers.

The dirt ramp from Underwood Jeweler parking lot down to the Parking Deck area was removed.

Masonry installation and washing was completed at the West Elevation.

Exterior sheathing board continued to be installed at the towers.

Rock base was laid down at the North Elevation for the mason’s mobile scaffolding and the scaffolding was disassembled at the West Elevation and moved to the North Elevation.

The sprayed fireproofing subcontractor was back on site spraying structural steel.

Excavation continued for grade beams at the Parking Deck.

Fire rated shaft-wall liners continued to be installed at the south staircase.

The elevator subcontractor arrived with his rails, doors and cab parts.

Clad wood doors continued to be installed at the North Elevation.

Roof insulation was being installed at the perimeter eyebrow at the main roof level.

Metal stud partitions were being framed up at the 9th Floor.

Reinforcing steel for the Parking Deck grade beams were delivered.
